The planning of this house is inspired from the vernacular Nālukettu houses. Traditionally,  a rectangular structure where four halls are joined together with a central courtyard open to the sky. In the design four scooped courts join to the central court bringing in landscape from all sides to the central court. Corridors connect the four volumes around the court.

A perforated facade further makes the house open to the surroundings.
